Tusome Pamoja provides tutoring and educational support for children who are learning English and adjusting to school in the United States. Through relationship-based learning and community support, we help students build skills, confidence, and connection—so they can thrive in and beyond the classroom.

About Tusome Pamoja
Comprehensive Care with Compassion
Tusome Pamoja, often referred to simply as Tusome, is a community-based nonprofit serving children who are recent immigrants to the United States and are learning English as an additional language.
Founded in Richmond, Virginia, Tusome Pamoja partners with families, volunteers, and local organizations to provide accessible educational support in a welcoming environment. Our programs emphasize respect, inclusion, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow with confidence.
